Go to Accelerate Northfield’s matching site. Log in to the website with your username and password (NOTE: This information was emailed to you by the Accelerate Northfield coordinator. You can email email@example.com if you no longer have that information).
Once you have logged in, you will see a screen (pictured below) with a list of available — or currently unfilled — tutoring opportunities. You can filter or sort the list by clicking on any of the column headings (in red box).
Select a tutoring opportunity you would like to sign up for. You can select multiple opportunities at a time. Simply select the opportunity (or two) by checking the boxes next to all the opportunities you wish to sign up for, as pictured below.
Once you have selected the opportunity(s) you wish to sign up for, scroll to the bottom of the screen, and hit the “Save Changes” button (pictured below).
After clicking the “Save Changes” button, you will be brought to a confirmation screen (see below). Please double check to make sure everything is correct, and then click “Confirm” (red box below). Or, if you would like to change something, click the “Cancel” button.
After clicking the confirm button, you will be brought back to the opportunities screen. Now, the opportunities you have signed up for will appear at the top of the list and will have the check box filled (see red box).
You and the teacher you signed up with will each receive a confirmation email regarding your tutoring signup, and you will be asked to get in touch with your teacher directly. Please be sure to follow up that confirmation email and contact the teacher to provide them with any other contact information, ask any questions you have and to confirm what date you should start.
If you do end up needing to cancel your tutoring session, please do so as soon as possible and be sure to communicate with the teacher to let she or he know you cancelled. As always, please contact Accelerate Northfield with any questions or concerns.
